Your responsiblities 

Being aware of your joint Data Protection and Data security responsibilities is important, 

you must maintain appropriate standards as a collective task; shared between us; and YOU.

This means for example. when you join any of our Facebook group/s you are responsible for what you post in that group; which should not be of a highly personal nature; 

and must not be of; a defamatory nature; breech any law ; breech copyright data.

when you complete any of our opt-in forms; 

you are responsible for; and are confirming the data you have entered as being YOUR correct data; ie your name; and your email.

Any breach of your responsibilities will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action, which may include; but is not limited to; 

being removed from: a Facebook group; an email list; an online course; being reported.

NOTE: we have no control over how YOUR data is technically collected in 3rd party AI algorithums, stored, or used by other 3rd party provider websites that we don’t control,  

always check you are happy and agree with their privacy policies on any such websites before providing any of your data to them.

What personal information and activities are covered by this policy? 

This policy covers personal information: which relates to a living individual who can be identified either from that information in isolation or by reading it together with other information we possess; is securely stored and encrypted electronically or if on paper in a locked secure filing system out of plain sight; in the form of statements of opinion as well as facts; which relates to any other individual whose personal information we handle or control; which we obtain, hold or store, organise, disclose or transfer, amend, retrieve, use, handle, process, transport or destroy. 

What personal information do we process and what do we do with it? 

We collect personal information about you which: you provide or we gather before or during your engagement with us; is provided by third parties, is in the public domain.

  The types of required personal information that we may collect, store and use about you can only where required for example:

  when you purchase a service via a secure encrypted checkout; include records relating to your: payment card info; telephone, contact email, name; 

but only with your permission as and if required for a valid reason and only for the time required. When you opt-in to a list you be asked to provide name and email.

We will use information to carry out our business, to administer your engagement or deliver a service, take payment and to deal with any problems or concerns you may have including: 

Monitoring: to monitor your use of contact e-mails to us, and the use of our internet website/s Disciplinary, grievance or legal matters: in connection with any disciplinary, grievance, legal, regulatory or compliance matters or proceedings that may involve you and us. 

We confirm that that for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 Data Protection Act 1998, We are the Data Controllers of the personal information that we handle. We determine the purposes for which, and the manner in which, your personal information is processed that we handle. 

 Facebook Page admins are now joint data controllers in agreement with Facebook. We use Facebook insights on the basis of art6,paragraph1.1(f) of the GDPR

This processing is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests that are;(a) helping us to see how people are engaging with our post or advert content; (b) to improve our relevant content for you; (c) giving you a better experience of engagement with our content.  

Legitimate Interests Assessment: we have successfuly carried out an LIA assesment.

If you consider that any information held about you is inaccurate then you should tell us and, if we agree that the information is inaccurate then we will correct it. If we do not agree with the correction then we will note your comments. 

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is kept secure, as described later in this policy and in general, we will not disclose your personal information to others outside of us. 

By providing your personal information (name/e-mail/ etc) to us, you consent to the use of your personal information in accordance with this policy.  

Data Protection Principles. 

We whose work involves using personal data relating to you must comply with this policy and with the legal data protection principles which require that personal information is: Processed fairly and lawfully.
